If you have any questions, feel free to send me an email. I will be more than happy to offer a free one-hour consultation to discover if Hypnosis as Hypnotherapy is a good fit for you.
Hypnotherapy or Hypnosis is classically used as a way to quit smoking, lose weight, or gain confidence in job interviews, public speaking or even dating.
And because you find yourself at this page, you are probably trying to solve a problem, so you may be wondering if Hypnosis is the answer, and by now, you may have felt stuck or frustrated for a while, and you may have tried to “fix” the problem behavior with willpower alone.
Now, just pushing with willpower alone usually works for most of our issues in life, and overcoming an obstacle, mastering an issue, or conquering a frustration in your life can give you a positive sense of accomplishment (as it does for me), and so you may have waited until now to take a look at Hypnosis.
However, sometimes that same will to succeed can be at odds with your own powerful unconscious mind, and because you are literally fighting parts of yourself, you can find yourself stuck. That’s where Hypnosis with a trusted Hypnotherapist can be a real help, to help you feel free and confident, get out of your own way, and finally succeed.
Perhaps it’s just a bad habit, or maybe you want to quit smoking, or even a lifestyle issue such as weight loss, or simply more confidence in job interviews, public speaking, dating etc. Maybe you could use a little help with improving relationships or study habits with Hypnosis, or maybe you have been experiencing chronic pain and seek an alternative remedy.
Because Hypnosis as Hypnotherapy is fast, easy and comfortable, and because many people have found Hypnosis to be incredibly useful for many issues like this, you really can get the results you’re looking for.
I hold the professional title of Certified Hypnotherapist with the International Hypnosis Association. I have trained in Neuro Linguistic Programming(tm), direct and indirect Hypnosis, Ericksonian Hypnosis, Conversational Hypnotherapy and classical methods, and have helped hundreds of clients succeed.
I am certified as a Master Hypnotist with Bennett/Stellar University, a state licensed vocational learning institution, and I am registered with the Washington State Department of Health as a Hypnotherapist per State requirements for Hypnosis.
Questions and Answers:
- Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state of experience?
Everyone experiences Hypnosis everyday, perhaps while reading a book, watching a movie or even driving long distances on the highway; and Hypnotherapy utilizes this state to resolve problems in your life naturally.
- What can Hypnosis be helpful for?
Hypnosis has been useful for many things including weight loss, phobias, self-esteem and confidence, smoking cessation, alcohol and drug addiction, pain management, sports performance, test anxiety and much more. If there is an issue that you think might be positively influenced by Hypnosis – just ask!
- Can anyone be hypnotized?
Essentially yes, although people may find themselves experiencing Hypnosis easier than others at any particular time or situation. Hypnosis is something that we can experience naturally every day and your Hypnotherapist can utilize this state to help bring positive and lasting solutions to your life.
- Can Hypnosis make me do something that would violate my ethics or morals?
Not at all, your conscious mind is never completely unaware, and we don’t “go out,” and so remain on guard for anything that may harm or offend your sense of morals or ethics.
And did you know, the U.S. government defines Hypnosis as having two parts:
(1) the bypass of the critical factor, and (2) the establishment of acceptable selective thinking.
And Hypnotherapy is listed in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles CODE: 079.157-010 TITLE(s): Hypnotherapist (profess. & kin.)
